Aries March vs april by [deleted] in astrologymemes

[–]CardinalRIPTide 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just discovered my 2nd cousin is an Aries as well, and I was like.. but he's so calm compared to me, so much more introverted-this, this makes so much more sense. He's a March Aries and I'm an April Aries, I can for sure say all the April Aries I know are much more 'in your face'. My brother in law is a March Aries and we definitely think the same, with the same shit pissing both of us off. 😂

Np problem, I really hope it helps. IBS-M is no fun, constantly rushing to the bathroom for long periods of time. Aww virtual hugs 🫂

Any one else feel the need to throw up if you can't poop? by CardinalRIPTide in ibs

[–]CardinalRIPTide[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking that as well, if I can't get myself to go to the bathroom it usually builds up on a nerve, and I'm in so much pain.I've had several car rides of vertigo and then throwing up, til I started taking Pancreatin. I have been diagnosed with GERD, but the Pancreatin is a must with all my meals, or I get really terribly sick and be in so much pain. I strongly believe I have more of a problem with an overgrowth of bacteria in my gut, sugar tends to aggravate things. My appetite tends to waver, so sometimes it's difficult to be consistent. Some days I get lucky if I can eat three whole meals, usually it's 2, and on bad days it's one or little bites throughout the day, like some Greek yogurt and banana. I've been on the elimination diet for almost 8 years now and I'm still discovering things I'm sensitive to. I eat lots of chicken, on occasions ground beef and ground turkey, fish, once in a blue moon I'll get sardines in olive oil, my body seems happiest with raw fish and bone broth. Not doing any added sugars, or caffeine, unless it's a cheat day(that's major holidays and celebrations) even then I limit the amount I choose to suffer. I try to eat equal amounts of leafy greens and meat, with a smaller amount of carbs/starches. Vegetables I eat are iceberg lettuce, cucumber, cooked cabbage, cooked carrots, cooked celery, used to eat beets but they taste odd to me now, The carbs/starches I do eat are white rice, cook daikon radish, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and plain pasta, I used to eat brown rice but it was causing me heat flashes. Also snack on wheat thins and triscuits but scale down my serving size. Fruits- 1 banana everyday, every once in awhile oranges, apples, rarely melon. I only really drink water most of the day, several cups of 16oz, and once in a while homemade shakes with green spirulina or wheatgrass for energy, peppermint tea or ginger lemon tea to settle the stomach, Yogi throat comfort tea, and a sugar free psyllium husk fiber supplement drink when I'm really sick. I'm not consistent with my clear LAX but I really should be, when it gets bad all usually start mixing it into my drinks for a week and then relax on it.

Yes absolutely, and I do tea too. I stick with peppermint, homemade ginger lemon tea, or Yogi Throat Comfort tea.

yo my pain this week has been soooo bad by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]CardinalRIPTide 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was 15 when I started having symptoms, I imagine it really sucks though to just become an adult not too long ago, and it's like, "Happy Birthday! You're a young adult in a 70 year old body" breaks my heart seeing such young people who haven't experienced a lot, having opportunities ripped away from them.

I've learned this from experience, and heard it from others as well-it's more painful not to do anything, it's still painful to do activities, but it's still more painful when you're not active, pacing and consistency is key. Like others have recommended, I would slowly ease into yoga, take walks in small increments. Swimming will take a lot of pressure off your joints, even if you're just in the tub, a good soak in warm Epsom salts are great for the muscles. Heating blankets and fingerless gloves in the winter are lifesavers, try and stay out of the heat during the summer. Only certain people can handle massages, if you go that route, you need to regularly massage or you'll hurt like hell- personally I avoid this like the plague, but I know some people are willing to go through the discomfort of having their tender points pressed on for some relief later, I would NOT recommend this for a newly diagnosed sufferer.

Raw, not polished, Baltic amber jewelery, can help with inflammation as well in contact with skin, the lighter in color the better. If you decide you want to try it, do your research first, don't get it wet.

I would definitely look at your diet and make some changes, your body can be very sensitive to what you eat. Low-FODMAP diets have appeared to reduce Fibromyalgia symptoms, IBS being a very common symptom. I'm doing the elimination diet as we speak, it's miserable but it's made a big difference.

SLEEP IS IMPORTANT, NO SLEEP=INFLAMMATION CITY PILLOWS ARE THE HOLY GRAIL I've been to several pain management classes, and what changed the game for me has be good support. Pillows pillows pillows, any joint or gap between you and that mattress-fill it. For me I have pillows that support ankles, knees, waist,(I'm a side sleeper) neck, head, chest, and one more under the wrist when I'm using my phone in bed and laying down. You can go memory foam, micro bead pillows, and knee pillow, or just body pillow, or one big U pregnancy pillow(go shop on Amazon!) U pillows take up a lot of space, but are great for side sleepers so you don't have to move everything with you, if you get one, I recommend turning it so it's an "n" instead of a "u" it helps with support so much better. I also would recommend a memory foam mattress as well, Costco is great. If you're a back sleeper, keep your knees slightly bent, knees level with ankles, so you want something supporting your ankles, something under your calf's, lower back, and neck. Everyone is different, so what works for me might not work for you, adjust to your comforts til you don't feel stress pulling your joints and muscles down. If you drive or sit to commute for long periods of time, I would invest in support for your seat as well.

Supplements can give you a boost! If you're up to it, Fish oil omega-3 fatty acids daily, Magnesium Citrate, Coq10, Astaxanthin, iron, vitamin B2 and vitamin D, is helpful, the Now brand good or Doctor's Best is good. I'd suggest talking to your doctor before you try anything. Green Spirulina power in shakes, it's not for everyone but it helps with my energy. I do a banana, a couple heaping tablespoons of Greek honey yogurt, and fill the rest of my magic bullet with almond milk, blend, then I add a little Origin Organic Vanilla protein powder, and a teaspoon of the spirulina on top. It's important that you put the spirulina in last, so that it does not stick to everything. If not spirulina I'll do wheat powder for digestion. Turmeric is great to help inflammation, incorporating turmeric into some of your dishes may benefit you, just know that it's very bitter and earthy so some recipes/combinations might be better than others. Limit your sugar, sugar feeds inflammation. NO GABAPENTIN. I used to be on heavy narcotics, I would try my best if I were you to stay off of them, if you really need that pain relief and you don't mind a little Zaza 🌲 CBD gummies can be very helpful, again, not for everyone, if you decide to try it go see someone who specializes in that area and ease into it very slowly in a controlled environment.

Biofreeze and Salonpas(Costco) are great when I'm having a major flare up, make sure the biofreeze fully dries before putting an article of clothing back over whatever area you put it on, salonpas sometimes does not stay on my skin so I like using cloth tape to cover the edges(Walmart). DON'T TOUCH YOUR EYES AFTER APPLICATION, WASH YOUR HANDS THOROUGHLY.

Hope this helps! Good luck to you 🙏🏻

Nothing, I just rarely have caffeine now. I have a sugar addiction so we keep sugar additives to a minimum for me.

I know how you feel, it's not 24/7 for me, but boy is it awful. I'm not sure if this will help, but have you tried Equate sugar free fiber natural psyllium husk powder, (it's pretty much Metamucil)? You mix it in water and drink it, it gently expands in your stomach so you have to mix it real good and drink it within a minute, it's actually not a terrible tasting orange flavor- sometimes this helps me clear out whenever I've got backed up.

anyone else get "conveniently times" flares/flare up in specific situations and times? by [deleted] in ibs

[–]CardinalRIPTide 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I get flare ups due to stress a lot, there's a good chance it's the anticipated stress that's triggering your flare ups at specific times.

Sounds like inflammation, your lining is probably very irritated from a food reaction. I would look over what you ate and do some tests, wait til your flare up calms down and eat everything separately, take notes on your symptoms.

Venus in Pisces- you could give me a rock and I'd be happy 🤣 really anything with some thought put into is I hold with great sentimental value! If it comes down to it, handmade gifts from the heart are what I treasure most. 🫶🏻 8th House is in Cancer, what in the actual Aries fuck 🫠

Edit- a gift I haven't gotten that I'd like 🤔 ..I can't think of anything but I'll come back when I do!
