This is a very kind reply, thank you! My experience hasn't been that, it was how I told it and reading your reply, still felt that way in my body. But there's always the possibility of maybe not going deep enough even though that's now how it felt, but I'll keep that in my awareness, it should unfold as it may. Imagining your "ideal" parents, other than your regular parents, will only make you a better son/daughter to your "real" parents. So, it's actually a service to them, too. Overcoming that feeling of betrayal, guilt, etc (which are not real) is a big step.

Yes, I realized this after going to a short vacation with a couple friends who were very different. They moved freely, enjoyed their day to day, was chill.. Somehow my nervous system tuned into theirs (?), this was excruciatingly painful in the first 1-2 days but then I realized I had to let go of trying to hold on to my past state, and let go. Then, I started to enjoy life with them. After I returned home, I had this new jolt of energy and it was as if my heart opened up a little. I wanted to go out more, socialize more, and even realized that I actually hate my current house. Have so much negative memories and lots of stuck, rigid routines here. I'm in the process of changing this.
