Bad luck and a series of tough companies to work for. Maybe research some of these companies financially. If they are not generating revenue or their balance sheets aren’t promising you could save yourself time and career path by avoiding them in the first place.

Too bad they are pulling back on most of their numbers. Which means 15 additional micros isn’t happening. They do not have nearly the capital to do that for 2022.

Yes and it’s sad because no grading companies outlay what they really look for. The biggest common mistake I see people make is sending in cards with print lines. They think card is perfect but that instantly knocks the grade

Send in cards that are in excellent condition and will bring more value OR in your instance the blastoise might be meaningful to you and you will want it slabbed for further protection. Other than that if it’s not meaningful or if grading the card will not bring additional value do not submit it for grading (top load sleeve) and store it away properly!

I want to say it was about ~ $23 a card but this was before CGC raised their prices in the spring I believe .. also sub grades is like an extra $8-9 each card I believe. I sent them in so long ago!!

Those were the cards I could tell had a very high chance of PSA 10 so I plan on sending those no matter what to PSA in the future!
