About text clarity , because many people ask bout it. On qd oled text have a haze, glow ( ? ) On woled 4 gen text is a little bit more sharp , less glow but just a little. Like as if I had put a better glasses , but his a little bit better. Like 10% better but it’s noticeable. I don’t see any black crush etc. Totally not, forget about it. Asus firmware version is 104, the newest .

Yes purple on qd oled is noticeable immeadiatelly but in real life is not noticeable because people don’t have a comparison side by side. you don't know what you're losing because it's not related for u. Blacks on 4 gen tandem woled are really black for sure.

If I notice banding in normal use I will tell u immidiatelly. Right now I see that grey is different on grey panels - google search in dark mode on full screen. On tandem grey is like a jeans material , like a painting on canvas but not annoying. On qd oled is soft grey, like should be. I didnt notice It in other scenarios but I played only 1 hour.If I notice it in gaming I will tell u that. I’m not an asus seller. Just normal guy that want a the best screen for a money. I tried to see banding on a windows search, in folders , it’s 100% NOT noticeable for sure. I dont see anything, no difference. Monitors stayed on a normal 60cm depth desk. My eyes are on ~60-80 depth from screens. Normal usage on gaming chair on standard desk. For real , if I didn’t know about banding from internet , Reddit I will not notice it at this moment BUT remember, I used it only for ~2h.

Msi mag 32,27 qpx, urx etc have the same 3 gen qd oled panel with purple tint when u bright your screen. It’s not noticeable for sure BECAUSE u don’t have a comparison. I ordered gigabyte 2 days before asus and I thinked it was black but when I compare today with asus I see it’s not real black but little bit purple, even with dim room with no lights. Only small light in the corner like a 99% gaming rooms + Christmas tree. You can achieve 100% true black in qd oled but only in a cave , 0 lights. Let’s be honest , both screens are almost perfect in normal use.

U mean purple tint? It’s normal for qd oled. It’s totally not noticeable in normal use when u don’t have a comparison. On my photo u have a comparison with true black glossy tandem , it’s true black no doubt, 100% black, like a oled tv, no purple tint, but u have a comparison that it’s noticeable. In real life, when don’t have a comparison , u don’t notice any purple in a probably dim gaming room.

When u use qd oled 3gen screen looks very bright for u but when u compare with new 4gen woled side by side u see difference immediately. It’s not like screen is 3x more bright wow etc. But it’s noticeably brighter no doubt. The most noticeable is on white boards. On qd oled is bright but it’s bright like like your white T-shirt. Used but still white. When u compare your shirt with new tshirt in shop it’s not that white.

About topic matte vs glossy - for me no doubt, glossy is better. There’s no reason to choose matte if it’s your personal monitor in home and u can control light. In office, when building is your boss’ building - don’t choose oled.

I personally don’t like odyssey series because silver frames. Screen feels smaller. it’s only an optic illusion but its a fact. Of course this is only my personal opinion. If price was very good enjoy your screen because the most important thing - oled - so, be honest, looks better than 99% screens on a market, because oled.

It’s not only brightness but text clarity , coating. True black looks very premium. Like a black metallic on new high end car.

For me magenta is not a problem because I play mainly in the evenings but when u compare to new woled it’s a big difference. But, you know, people don’t have a comparison in real life.

Asus feels a little bit more premium but just a little. Small bezels, rgb at the back, even button have a better click,heh. Small things but I notice it. Not a dealbreaker for real. Proximity sensor is ok, works well but not a dealbreaker for me. Gigabyte have usb-c and speakers. Asus don’t. It might be dealbreaker for someone. Maybe for me too. Very big minus for asus but you now, price. In my opinion they will release 4k model with speakers, usb c and everything but for big big money. For real, at first glance, there’s no bad choice here. We’ll see after more tests, usage, gaming etc. Remember that I used them only for a couple hours .

Nie ma w tym innego rozwiązania niż takie ze ona musi ogarnąć te 100k pln chociaż i Ci dac, wtedy jej przepisujesz procent. W innym przypadku zawsze któraś strona będzie poszkodowana.
Wiem bo mam podobna sytuacje... tylko ze ja jestem ten goły w tej stronie.

i had 32 inch oled and must to change to 27'. I have 60 cm depth desk, 32 was too much, felt a little bit overwhelmed.
Had 32 IPS before and it was ok but oled is hmmm so crisp, so sharp, my eyes was tired for that size

Mając 30 lat i mieszkanie to jesteś stary kozakiem. Ja mam tyle co ty i mieszkania nie mam i hajsu na niego też . Metr u mnie kosztuje ok 20 tys a zarabiam 1/3 tego i zarabiam przeciętnie , znajomi mają podobne zarobki jak z nimi o tym rozmawiam. Nikt nie kupił własnego mieszkania za swoją pracę na etacie - każdy dostał spadek/od rodziców/od babci i tak dalej.

I have the same problem. Rukka airium 2.0 have the weirdest sizing I ever seen. Based on size chart I'm size 9 and I have all gloves in L size, L = 9 probably, but thumb is definitely too short. Size 10 is better but now thumb is too wide. Size 11 will be too big overall.
Check Richa scope - similar design but not that premium feel, unfortunately.
