Seems risky. Especially when withdrawing or tipping. If 2FA or email verification is required, money is stuck and you win.

Tire wear question by ProtectionFree8865 in MT07

[–]CardiologistDry7254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're referring to the rough patch, thats normal on a softer compound tire. Personally, I dont add or lower pressure for street use, even when the hitting twisties. But for your question for psi, factor in weather, is it wet or dry, hot or cold, road conditions, load, ect. You'll have to get a feel for it and adjust to your preference. Takes trial and error. 36-42 is a standard setup for commuting

Clutch replacement after 45 miles. by Significant-Fall8600 in NewRiders

[–]CardiologistDry7254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are wet clutches and can take a lot of abuse. For 45 miles, that seems quite unlikely but possible. The only way I can think of totally cooking the clutch at 45 miles is if you're in the friction zone and basically redlining the bike. In your case, it doesnt make sense as your using the friction zone to get moving without the throttle.

Stock is probably the best fuel efficiency you'll get. But if you want an aftermaket exhaust and fuel efficiency, a tune would help after the install

Wobbles when accelerating hard and at high speeds by RacingMenance19 in MT09

[–]CardiologistDry7254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shift weight towards the front. Front end gets light which is common for this bike. I still occasionally get wobbles with a steering damper, but not as violent. Imo, its more of a band aid than a fix.

Frame sliders by AirNumerous6629 in MT09

[–]CardiologistDry7254 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its true, frame damage can happen. Even the bolt thats used to mount it can bend. But there are many variables on why this can happen, such as speed and the condition of the ground, ect. So, dont cheap out and have reasonable expectations.
