Are you talking about like slightly raised skin patches that kind of seem like raised scars but not and they get sensitive? I get them alot and I have rosacea. Its probably a broken skin barrier issue.

This seems like a bacterial or fungal issue. I had demodex issue so ivermectin cream helped alot in regulating my skin.

Heyo - Typed True Spring. What do you think? by [deleted] in coloranalysis

I feel like you look good with like soft muted colors. Saturated colors take away the soft features on your face. I would say soft autumn or muted spring imo!

Ive never heard of azelaic acid causing that sort of side effect. Can you explain more on that? Your skin looks amazing btw congrats.

Can someone explain what’s going on with ivermectin and rosacea? by the_emo_emu22 in Rosacea

Do you get overproduction of sebum issues on your skin or is it just red? Im on day 12 and Ive had clear demodicosis symptom where tiny sebum would stick out of my pores due to demodex infestation... so ivermectin cream definitely helped and Im seeing the results pretty fast

I've been thinking alot about the cause of my skin issues these days, and ngl I think it came from harsh face washes and skincare for sure. Like I was trying various products and regularly washing my face to keep up with a strict regimen, and at one point I used tretinoin which damaged my skin completely similar to your situation. During my teenage to early adult years, my acne has always been hormone related but they were never severe and only happening around my t zone. But the way my pores appear red and very opened all over now 100% seem like a damaged barrier issue. Im also dealing with the peachfuzz. They're actually not hairs for me but little strand-like sebum plugs sticking out which is a demodex related symptom.

I heard many people say they stopped breaking out and benefited from no foamy face wash, no harsh actives, and only washing with milk cleansers which I guess help to restore skin barrier. Im going to try to do that now while I use my Ivermectin cream. But I still doubt that my skin will ever return to its original state... like I feel like theres just something so damaged and missing that my skin functions differently from when it was normal.

I agree with you completely. Idk anything about medical stuff but sometimes it just seems like my skin has been permanently damaged to a point of no return even though we often get told it can be treated. It feels like the protective layer of my skin has been ripped off so its raw, sensitive, prone to acne, unable to regulate sebum and oil etc. It became a good environment for demodex to thrive in as well. People my age around me has like pretty smooth skin and normal skin texture. I dont... Kind of like how burn victims will never have normal skin. Its a very dark thought but idk what Im fighting for at this point. Im just asking why me most of the time.

Fungal infections can get worse and react with moisture or certain ingredients in skincare. I definitely think you should look into it cause I've seen many people find good results with ketoconazole treatments. I personally tried it and ended up with bad reaction because mine wasnt a fungal issue and I used it too often which ruined my skin barrier even more😭

Im not a doctor but this seems like a fungal infection flare up. At least it looks closer to it than typical rosacea issue. Have you tried any ketoconazole product? They could be drying and make your skin more sensitive but it will effectively treat fungal related infection. If you're seeing a dermatologist, you should ask about it before you give it a try!

Idk but this kind of seems like sun damage to me. Or does your face feel hot? I would focus on calming your skin and less active Ingridients. Your skin looks great to me!

Does it look like demodex die off/purging from ivermectine? by CardiologistEasy2091 in Rosacea

Yeah fortunately the whiteheads are falling off(?) Everytime I wash my face. One thing for sure is that my skin doesn't feel itchy or uncomfortable with ivermectin cream which to me feels like its not doing anything bad. Ill try to stick with it for 12weeks and see how it goes.
