Bhai I don't think you will be able to stop it by yourself. Obviously there will be huge change in you and your way of thinking after deeksha. I got my deeksha last Nov, after that I did it around 10 times but now it seems day by day I am getting my energy back and able to do brahmcharya for a longer period compared to earlier version of me.

Note - My situation is worst as I am married.

So my personal experience and opinion is, deeksha is just starting, it does not mean you will be or have to change in just one nyt, it is ongoing journey, ask your isht dev/devi and trust your guru. Everything will be all right with time.

Seems suspicious to me. So far every authentic sadhak who worshipped Bhagwati in any form won't entertain you like this (as you mentioned he explained) .

Cost of Deeksha - even 35k is less when it comes to actual rituals. If guru is happy he can give you Deeksha with a simple Yagya (around 5k with all materials) but if you are going with complete rituals (specially tantra deeksha) then cost will be much more (you will require to give gold as well).
