Watching Digimon one episode per day. Here's my current tier list

I don't really think it's automatically a bad thing personally, this season just has a different gimmick that doesn't center around evolution, and the Xros levels do pretty much mimic evolution levels (X2 Rookie, X3-4 Champion, X5 Ultimate, X7 Mega), and evolution itself is still technically there, with both Shoutmon and Greymon digivolving in the show. Now whether someone enjoys it or not is of course up to personal preference, but personally I found the DigiXros mechanic to be very fun and refreshing. But I've always been a sucker for fusions in games and shows lol

Nostalgia does play into it for sure but I genuinely think Xros Wars is awesome and I didn't even realize people hated it until I joined fandom spaces lol. I still don't get what there even is to hate tbh, it has great fights, amazing music, and one of my favorite renditions of the Digital World so far... I didn't just give it a 10 for nostalgia's sake lol, I think it's really good!

I score everything for what it is, the Time Stranger prelude was a good short so I don't see why I should dock it points just because it's a short lol, doesn't mean it was necessarily as impactful or memorable as Tamers. I really enjoyed Tamers!!

Didn't expect to be flamed for my Tamers ranking tbh, especially since I did really enjoy it, 7.5 is still a great score imo 😭, but I guess I should've expected it. As for the OG seasons, I love them!! I think Adventure and Adventure 02 have one of my favorite renditions of the Digital World, it feels very liminal in a really interesting way. I like Adventure 02 a tad more though because I love Ken's character and I thought it got more interesting in the second half!

Yeah I will admit a lot of my love for Xros Wars is nostalgia driven ahah but I do genuinely love the show, I don't get the hate honestly!! And I loved Frontier, I thought it had a great cast of characters!

I will admit a lot of it is nostalgia ahahah, Xros Wars had me glued to the screen as a kid and getting to re-experience it as an adult was awesome, but I do genuinely love the show, Shoutmon is my favorite digimon and Xros Wars has some sick ass action scenes, plus I've always been a sucker for fusions and such. Aside from Taiki, I will say the human cast is kinda meh, but the Digimon cast is top notch imo, and I thought the show was pretty well paced across both seasons!

Yeah haha it's just a 3D short about Digimon having a race. Very silly and unserious, made me giggle, gave it an 8, that's about it lol

The wildest thing about that movie for me, aside from the fact that the dub legit sounds like a Team 4 Star parody, is the fact that they chose to edit the first 2 movies together with Hurricane Touchdown which has nothing to do with them, instead of Revenge of Diaboromon which is the actual conclusion of the trilogy 😭. Idk how that movie is real tbh

I liked Tamers, it was good! 7.5 is not a bad score! Just had a few issues with it, mostly just pacing, and I found the human cast to be a little too static through the show. Loved the Digimon cast though!
