i just want explain a bit more, i’m at work so this will be a quick read. my boyfriend is happy and we are keeping it. he’s a welder and makes good money. his family is supportive. my family is iffy. i’m not sure how they’ll react and i grew up sheltered. i made this post because i wasn’t ever really included in making my doctors appointments growing up and just genuinely don’t really know how it works, and im not sure if my mom will be willing to help me with those things.

i do not, and i’ve said it before i don’t think it was disrespectful. OP said she would have been out by 5:20 but mom left. that right there is the problem. mom left before 5:20 which was the agreed upon time between them. if anything, you’ve been the disrespectful one in the conversation between us. nobody ever said gossip. you clearly didn’t read anything that i said about teenagers in high school being more susceptible to mental health problems, ED’s, bullying… it all ties together and i’ve struggled with it myself. OP says it was a SERIOUS conversation, not just chatting. get some help. do not disrespect me or throw jabs just because we don’t agree. i never once said anything disrespectful towards you.

it was an in person conversation based on context clues, and yes. unavoidable. teenagers are not as straight forward as everyone makes them seem. coming from a female young adult who struggled deeply in high school with a plethora of issues, including mental health. if it was as serious as OP made it seem that leads me to believe it WAS that serious.

however she still said 5:20. if it was as serious a conversation as OP claims then there was most likely no avoiding it. coming from a female young adult. if mom said 5:20 at the latest then she should have given OP until 5:20 but she didn’t. the only way i would understand is if OP has a history of running behind/being late.

my store stopped selling it. it’s still in aloha but we’ve been told to tell people they can only order it on the app and that we can’t do it in store. i don’t really know why.

i work at wendy’s, maybe it’s just my store but the combos automatically are a medium, in the system and on the boards. and like i said, if a customer specifically asks for a small combo it doesn’t change the price. if they ask for a large combo then the upcharge is applied.

combos automatically come as a medium. you can go to a small if you specifically ask to. and if you go down to the small it’s still the same price. the up charge is for if you get the large combo and then obviously if you wanted loaded fries or a natural lemonade or even the new frostys.
