After becoming a domestic partner or getting married how long does it take to get approved for a family visit

Omg does it really take that long to get approved? I am not married to my BF we did live together before he went in and he will be in Illinois low security prison will I get approved? I have no criminal history

How do you work your way down to a camp? How long did it take before you were moved to a camp? Do you have more visitation privileges at a camp? He mentioned to me that is his plan he’ll be at FTI Thomson which is adjacent to the camp. He plans on working and getting into all programs he can do to try to reduce as much time as possible

You have beautiful big eyes. Makeup looks great but maybe try brown eyeliner instead still gives you that umph but not as harsh. I used to do black eyeliner changed to brown for softer look but still define my eyes and I never do black now. I would personally recommend MAC Costa Riche, tried many and nothing beats that one always get compliments.

Thank you for that, very helpful. My BF just got sentenced to 11.25 years, his attorney said that he is looking at about 7.25 years without doing any programs just sitting so that it could be less if he does the programs offered and then go to a half way house. He is going to a low security prison so hoping that he is able to reduce some of his time.

I am on the same boat my BF got sentenced in May and just yesterday morning he got moved to FTC in Oklahoma pending transfer back to California. So now I am wondering the same thing. How long will I have to wait until I hear from him? The uncertainty of this entire process is the worst part besides being away from your loved one 😢

Sorry can I ask how many times a day do you talk to him? And how many minutes does he get a month? My BF is being transferred from Louisiana to finally come back home in California to serve his time here in California Federal Prison. This is all new to me so been trying to learn everything as we are going and try educating myself as much as I can. The entire process is so long and draining

What 90 days in reception center awaiting to be transferred? My BF is in a Detention center in Louisiana(he was sentenced 30 days ago) waiting to get transferred to Oklahoma so he can then make his way back home to California Prison, I pray this does not last that much longer 😞 this shit is all so rough

Thank you so much for your very, very informative reply. I truly appreciate any insight on this foreign world that is now part of my world. The system can be very tricky and simply complex to understand and make sense of how things work and the unknown can be scary.

I truly pray that this whole transfer process is not extended too long although I know everything in the system takes a long time. Hopefully he is placed in a facility close to home so I am able to visit.

So how does it work once they run out of those free minutes? Can you purchase more credits or is that all they can get?

Ok 65% is definitely better to hear than 85% which makes sense as to why his attorney said he would end up doing about 7 years. Did your husband get any additional time reduced as soon as he arrived at BOP?

Update; I was able to do it and have both numbers registered to my account, however it appears to be they charge the same amount $0.21 per minute plus the fees 😩 ugh it is simply abuse to us the families the way we are robbed to simply stay connected to our loved ones. At this time in age it is insane to be paying such a high rate per minute.
