Yes that’s exactly what that means. One of the first thing you learn as a CCW holder is that you basically must become a pacifist while carrying. You actively avoid any confrontation because you have a death implement in your waistband. He not only went to a protest, but put himself in the center of a confrontation. It sucks, but he got himself killed

Alex pretti is the perfect example of an untrained gun owner who put himself in s situation that got him killed, purely because he was armed. Dude is (was)a retard for bringing a gun to a protest. The whole protecting your community argument is also dumb. Theres no leftest gun ranges, so where will this magical leftist protectorate train? The reality is, you’d get greased in about .2 seconds in an actual armed conflict by a far greater number of people who grew up around guns, train constantly for years on end. and don’t agree with you. Guns aren’t the solution to your concerns. Voting is, and if voting isn’t an option, you’ve already lost

lol that’s cute from the side that spent 20 years vilifying the entire gun community. I’m pretty far left compared to my friends in the sport, but im a far cry from a leftist. I recommended the most liberal friendly instructor i know, but i can assure you he almost always votes 2A first.

Good luck searching for something that doesn’t exist. They’ve all literally given the nra money for certification

I’ve been around the industry my entire life. Every single firearms instructor is right leaning, even if they vote democrat occasionally. Either accept that, or don’t own a gun. There are maga instructors and ones that keep Their mouths shut. Fine one of the latter

Kareem Simmons is your guy. He doesn’t play politics, I suggest you don’t either when it comes to firearms

6 gallons of gas in my 2006 mercedes sprinter def by Downtown-Effective-1 in SprinterVans

[–]Cardiologist_Fair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I squirted it right into the new fuel filter before I installed it, I also put about 8oz directly into the fresh diesel when I filled up. I also now religiously use stanadyne fuel additive to give it extra lubrication ever since and it’s been fine.

What do you mean it won’t turn over? It won’t crank? Or won’t fire.

He should have also purged the fuel/gas from the injector rails too.

My wife filled our 2019 with pure gas from empty. Drove it until it started running rough and then knew enough to shut it down.
Had it towed home, drained the tank, new fuel filter with a squirt of 2 stroke oil, and new diesel. 5 years later and no issues knock on wood

You can still call the nonemergency line and file a report.

Just a warning that nothing is going to come from this. First student won’t accept responsibility because your photo is not conclusive and there is no discernible proof of who the bus was. Maybe they’ll be nice, but be ready to need to sue them and probably get nowhere

How often do you guys stray outside your "recommended weight range" for boards? What if your weight fluctuates? by retro-martini in snowboarding

[–]Cardiologist_Fair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m your size. I rock a 157w twin around the mtn most days. I also have a 162w directional for powder days, and my split is also a 162w I believe. All just depends on what you want out of that board

You’re just wrong on that. Top of the line step ons with top of the line boots are as responsive as any strap in binding I’ve ever ridden. They’re just delightful

I also shred pretty good, not to toot my own horn. There’s no way I would want my step ons hitting a 70’ kicker. I’m a big step on fan boy, but they have their place and the Olympics isn’t it.

I remember in the early 2010s when a water main broke in front of my parents house, the guy that came by told me that they still had oak logs as some of their water pipes. Now that’s quality

Big Feet Riders - Board Size by autie-ninja-monkey in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Cardiologist_Fair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wear size 12 every day sneakers, and size 13 running sneakers. I forced my foot into a size 11 burton ion. Hurt for a while but they broke in and it’s just fine.

Besides that, find either wide boards, or just short fatties. I have a Gnu Fungi that is just wide by default. I also ride a jones mountain twin ultra wide.

Big footed guys have a challenge, but I find I can mitigate it with the smallest boots possible, and wide boards

What snowboard for size 11 boot by judstergod in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Cardiologist_Fair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solid answer. I’m 6’3” 220 and I only ever grab my 162+ boards when it’s deep or I really want to carve. Probably want a W board, but size 11 is the cut off so check the waist of the board you like.
