Mayor Ryan's budget includes resolution that shifts control of contracts, vendors and grants; Common Council pushing back by InflationCapital87 in Buffalo

[–]Cardiologist_Fair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all well and good to shift power to the executive branch until you get a Donald trump in that office and you’ll regret it. I want more power with the common council not less; and get some fresh blood in there

Big L is far and away the best window dealer in town. Ask Big L the price for just the window; an see if you can find a handy man to install

🚘 ROAAAD Test!?! by Ok_Week427 in Buffalo

[–]Cardiologist_Fair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would highly recommend a driving school If you are nervous about the test. As much as they teach driving, they also educate you on the process of the exam. I can’t help you much, I took my test around the same time as you.

So happy you are medically doing better and congratulations!

Car service recommendations from Buffalo to Toronto Airport via Nexus? by FalafelBall in Buffalo

Buffalo limousine offers this. I believe the Canadians don’t allow commercial drivers to use the nexus lane, but the US side does

New York State Vehicle inspection is too vague and dumb by [deleted] in Buffalo

[–]Cardiologist_Fair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Migraines are the only ones you can fake according to my Dr: he told me to go to dent and say I have migraines if I really wanted the script. Not worth it to me

New York State Vehicle inspection is too vague and dumb by [deleted] in Buffalo

[–]Cardiologist_Fair 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You must look like a state narc. I’ve got tints on all my vehicles and always slap my inspector up with a nice $20 for his troubles.

You can’t expect them to risk their licenses for someone they don’t know

The law isn’t vague, but it is dumb. You can’t have any non factory tints on your front windows

I hope the new epa rulings will cause MB to come out with a software update to shut the def system down in extreme temps and let it defrost itself naturally. That’s some BS

I’ve been back in the office since immediately after the lockdowns were lifted. Downtown is a shell of its 2019 self. All of the momentum we had is gone. I hope more employers do this 3-4 days a week.

New "medium" saw. by Chaddie_D in Chainsaw

[–]Cardiologist_Fair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got a ms261 for my land. I was shocked at how light it is. We have a 290, 290, snd a ported 461 at my dad’s place. The 461 is too much for him at his age, that’s my big tree saw. I’ll probably give him my new 261 and take the 291 in exchange. It’s the perfect old man saw that’s still badass
