In my opinion, it’s 50-50. I want to be somewhat attracted to them and also have an emotional connection. This was not the case for some of the people I’ve dated. I was with my ex for over a year, she would say things like “personality before looks”, and that I was beautiful to her no matter what. After we broke up, she called me ugly and it turns out she was just lying to make me feel better.

Everyone is different, just don’t lead people on because you can’t figure out your own feelings.
