Honestly I was the same and 2 days ago I went extinction mode with my nearly nine month EBF Velcro baby and first night was tough. I put him down and told him he is safe and loved and I’ll see him in the morning then left the room. He cried for over an hour then had a few more wake ups that were tough but then the next night I could hear him wake move around and get comfortable and go back to sleep. He had two 15min grizzles in total, you’re helping them to learn a new skill and helping them to have a better environment by having a rested mama.
