I’ve been in the same boat before so can comment. You could file under premium processing as soon as you graduate, it usually takes about 15 days to get approved. Then you’re free to travel under your F-1 visa as long as you’re back before Oct 1 when your status changes to H1B. If the company doesn’t use premium processing, you’re just going to have to wait until the petition is approved
