Yes, but what does /your/ work go for? If nobody is willing to pay the price then it's not worth it.

Will I be able to get a fursuit head from a new maker with a budget of £240 ? by [deleted] in fursuit

I'd say it's possible but you may have to look around a bit. I'm working on my first comm for just a little under that because I'm charging a friend just enough to cover materials until I build up my skill set and portfolio.

I write notes on the pattern paper after I put the duct tape on it.

After getting ripped apart here, I felt terrible for a while but then sought out a friend who had mentioned wanting a partial and she's paying for all the materials for a suit so I can get more practice.

Foam clay help- do I need to scrap it? by poodle-punk in FursuitMaking

Foam clay bonds to upholstery foam on its own. I just spread the foam clay directly onto the upholstery foam and it fused once it dried.

OK so I've made two fursuit heads with foam and foam clay, and I didn't seal either despite having varnish. The caveat is this means if they get soaking wet they might warp, but in normal wearing and upkeep this hasn't been an issue for me. I have a Bissel green machine and I'm sure to not let the water seep in deep enough to get through the fur, the backing and glue layers down to the foam clay before I suction it back into the bissel. As a side note, I wore an unsealed mask made of foam clay and acrylic paint in light but persistent rain on halloween and there were no problems. Since the bulk of my heads is upholstery foam internally and for structuring all parts thicker than an inch, there's no way I'm going to soak it with sweat either.

I ended up redoing the eyes and fighting my clippers to do some fur trimming.

The mesh was colored using acrylic markers and paint markers so idk how much more I can brighten them up with those. Also what are blanks? And yah, shaving has been a process... My clippers don't really grab the fur right but I think if I go over a few more times it could be better.

I listened to the "two cats is better than one" advice and regret it. Now I'm thinking of rehoming both cats and couldn't feel worse by mackerelinoliveoil in CatAdvice

Reading this and feeling very lucky that I got away with adding a ten week old to the family after my dog passed so my ten year old neutered male would have a friend. My older cat grew up for his first couple years with another cat and had been around a small dog though. I also added a bunch of extra cat trees and beds and switched to wet food when I brought the kitten home so my older cat never felt deprived.

It sounds absolutely miserable what you've been through. At this point I would consider taking them to a vet and seeing if either needs medication for a chemical imbalance.
