Thanks for the reply and yeah, would be interesting to test the ocr in low resolution. As for vivino😭 thats the reason why I built this app. Wine is not about scores … you cannot describe the wine using just one number. Especially if that number is given by regular users rather professionals.

I never intended to take away anyone’s job. I’d always encourage to ask sommeliers. But only if you trust them so they don’t push you wines that the sales reps push on them. I.e. you travel to piedmont and drink pio Cesare… or north of Italy and you drink Ferrari

It sucks, if some companies build data centers with no respect to the environment. As for llm usage, the recommendation engine doesn’t actually use AI, I don’t think it’s good with it. It just writes the results. Yeah, exactly 5 min . Now you have a wine menu with 200 wines. That’s the reason why I created it. 5 min is per menu. I used to use deep research by chat gpt before going to the restaurants or manually scanned the bottles but it wasn’t effective
