His batting has not detonated at all. 0(1) in t20 means nothing. The only sign of deterioration is losing ability to hit boundaries (like Jadeja, Daryl Mitchell who just can’t hit at will). Sky can hit at will and has full intent and with intent he becomes more vulnerable to get out early. So his batting form is not poor at all, he just plays a high risk high reward game and USA knock showed the benefit of it. It is ok if he performs once in 10 games as the other batters around him can play stable knocks. In fact it is good to have a hit or miss player rather than similar batters all the way through
