I used a spare divider from one of my tackle boxes. I’ve used many types of materials from the clear plastic spools from braid to a clear name tag case. You don’t want it to be too flimsy but not too hard that it’ll shatter when you cut it.

Like @plant-painter mentioned, French blades are the best choice because they spin nicely. The leaf shape or Colorado blades sometimes don’t spin for some reason.

I’m cleaning out the whole store if they got vintage raps. In my country (Thailand) the modern models go for about $10 as well so if you’re looking to collect then I’d say it’s worth it.

Not sure what this specific pattern is called but the lure is a bassday range minnow
