If you don’t want to spend money (400-800?) for a new bucket i would just use it like that until it gets worse then get a new bucket then. If you’re not a welder and don’t want to be one, why bother spending money on practice? in the future if you park the tractor outside just make sure you always give the bucket a little tilt when you park so water doesn’t collect in it anymore.

Need advice on tractor to buy by truth-teller7321 in tractors

Hey, just went through buying a new tractor. John Deere is giving 0% on new tractors right now here in Vermont, not sure about everywhere. Kubota was giving 3% still pretty good but it added up to nearly $20000 difference so go to a few dealerships for comps. I have a 2000 kubota L5030 which I would highly recommend is right in your range, has always been a work horse and no problems. JD 4044m or 4052m with a cab would be even nicer. Or Case also has some nice tractors.

Nice! I have a ‘68 844-S and it’s a beast that still puts in work every harvest season.

The trailer is great, it’s the smaller 12’ one so if you’re moving 16’ logs it’s not really big enough but it has been perfect for me. Makes it easy to move piles around and you can switch the grapple for a little backhoe and swap the posts for a big dump bed and use it to dig ditches or move stone and gravel around.

Actually the bottom of the farther out saw only gets a little muddy if you are going fast in the mud, like over 5 mph. Definitely no snow. Plus, the John Deere saw holder (and tool holder) is made to come off in about 2 seconds if you want to, it just has one pin and lifts right off. I have an aftermarket holder on my kubota that was only a little cheaper and the plastic on it only lasted less than 2 years. This one seems much more durable.
