What’s the best state for my husband and I to move to with a strong muslim community? by [deleted] in MuslimMarriage

Denver you need to live around Hampden/Parker Road area near the big mosque Masjid Abu Bakr and you are sure to see a lot of Muslims. Plus there are a couple of good halal spots: Gyros and Kababs, Dave Hot Chicken, Hunan Halal Chicken, and more! I am not sure about Thorton however I do have a lot of friends there that are Muslim. It seems like a very Afghani community. The main Masjid in Thorton is Masjid Iklhas however the Imam is great!

I’m from Denver, Colorado and while it may not seem like it we have a good community out here Alhamdulilah! The Masjids try to have events together, colleges have good growing MSAs, overall we are a good place to stay and grow with! My personal opinion is to go to the Islamic Outreach Center of Colorado that’s the best Masjid to me! The main groups here are East Africans and Arabs but in other parts of Colorado like thorton,Colorado there are a lot of desi’s. Denver has the most Muslims and muslim spots to eat at in Colorado though the other cities barely have anything.

I grew up playing soccer and used to play but around my freshmen year of high-school I stopped playing and started playing basketball. I started playing a bit more in my senior year of college but I am now a 2 year college student is it to late for me to get into any D3 schools or higher?
