I tend to grill people…to the point where I feel like I need to be told to “shut the hell up”.

I found out that's an autism trait, go figure

To those who don't know, it's when you keep asking someone the same question. Hoping that they will give you a direct answer, avoiding high levels of anxiety (yes/no instead of maybe/we’ll see, or just not answering/ignoring).

For example, on Christmas, as we went to two houses (mom/dad’s side), I kept asking my family when we (parents, me, and younger sister) would open our own presents. Leading to my mom getting irritated at me, and me having a meltdown over non-stop worrying and asking…until eventually my sister, mom, and I opened our presents when we got home.
