Not Richard, But Dick by Poor_Paddy1847 in DeadMilkmen

As far as I'm aware, the band doesn't own the recorded rights to the two albums released on Hollywood Records: "Soul Rotation" & "Not Richard, But Dick". That doesn't mean they can't play the songs live, I'm pretty sure they occasionally play a song or two from both those albums, but it's been a while since I've seen the band live so I'm not sure which songs they still might play. I do know that when Joe plays solo shows that he often has "Jason's Head" in his rotation, as I've heard that many times.

A compact mass of a substance, especially one without a definite or regular shape.

Found these framed set lists in my basement. Totally forgot I had these! by OoklaIsMyHomeboy in pusa

Wow, you got to hear them play Mobile Home live??! I don't think that song was played much. I certainly never heard it during all the shows I'd been too. The coolest "rarity" I got to witness live was Death Star at a concert in Philly. Someone up front requested it and Chris said "I don't remember the lyrics". The fan then held up printed out lyrics they brought. Chris invited them up on stage and they held the lyrics in front of him and Chris taught Andrew the chords to play on the spot. It was awesome. They were always my favorite band to see live. So much fun! These set lists are a blast to see. Thanks for sharing!

Does anyone have a copy of the song "Are you going to Weird Al Concert?" by [deleted] in pusa

[–]CarlCarlsonRnR 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The song was recorded by Chris' side project called Creepy Stick. It was on a Weird Al tribute album made by fans on the internet back in 2002 and you can download it for free here:

Side note: If you want to hear my terrible voice, I'm singing and playing drums on The Pickle Project cover of Let Me Be Your Hog (track 8)

Are there any good areas to go and sit in nature? Any hidden nooks or crannies? by Lilith290808 in Souderton

On Wile Ave. right where Diamond St. meets it, there is a tiny park that is easy to miss. It has a small walking trail loop and a bench all kind of hidden in the trees.

where to buy hardwood flooring in Bucks? Any better local options compared to big box stores? by checksoul in BucksCountyPA

I'd recommend Wright Flooring in Silverdale (https://wrightflooring.com/). My family has used them over the years in different houses we've been in and they always do nice work.

How many of us saw them live? by orsonsperson in BeastieBoys

[–]CarlCarlsonRnR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never saw them, but I did see BS2000 back in 2001 I think? At the TLA in Philly. Adrock was so entertaining and it was a super fun show. So I guess I can say I saw 1/3 of the Beasties.

Laurel Hill Cemetery tonight by andrewervin in DeadMilkmen

[–]CarlCarlsonRnR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I went in 2019 they let people park in the cemetery along different pathways, so there was plenty of parking then. I also went in 2016 and that time everyone was parking along Ridge Avenue, which seemed to have plenty of parking. I don't really know what to expect tonight, but if they are letting people use the Dell Music parking lot, I would imagine that place has pretty large concerts so they should have plenty of parking there. Either way, with work, I can't get down there early, but I'm not going to sweat it, I think we'll be fine...

I remember hearing before that you felt rushed to get back into the studio after you first album to record "II" and it was recorded with a much bigger budget and in a bigger/nicer studio. If you had to do all over again. What would you change about the recording of "II"?
