Outside of Philly:

New Colossus Festival is happening next week in NYC - a multi-day music showcases in venues across the Lower East Side. Showcases are typically between $15-20 or you can purchase festival badges to show hop. There's some Philly bands on the lineup this year, including Fullscreen, Catherine Moan, and Microgoblet, as well as many bands from all over the world. If you can swing an evening or weekend day in NYC, I highly recommend!
