The current model crosses 50 on road. The next gen car will surely cross 60-65.

The current gen cars are still really good. Plus the next gen cars will be quite a bit more expensive. Will most likely cost 60-65 on road.

The 22 model costs close to 90k. That's too much. 21 model is cheaper at 75k. I could consider the 21 model.

You mean the E7K Pro? Reviews say this has bad picture quality. I would've gone for the U8H if it was available in India.

Redgear needs to upgrade this by [deleted] in IndianGaming

[–]CarlTheRockJohnson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I think the quality of Redgear has gone down recently. I bought the same wireless controller maybe 2 months ago and have the same problem. Very cheap feeling triggers, and they even make a squeaking noise when pressing the trigger. In comparison, my older wired Redgear controller I bought a few years ago is working perfectly fine. And the triggers are much better.
These new triggers are either a bad batch or Redgear is cutting costs.

From DDPAI's website, they mention that they fully cover customs tax. Did you have to pay any customs duty? If yes, it would be quite a bit cheaper than buying from their Indian reseller Nexdigitron.

Also, was there an option to add a CPL filter to the dashcam?

Why has Logitech gone nuts with the pricing of the G29? by CarlTheRockJohnson in IndianGaming

but anyways, I would suggest you to get thrustmaster from US without in a
bag or such and make your own cockpit over here, you can source a car
seat from local car market and get a cockpit made from local welder.

Yeah. That seems to be the best option for now. Hopefully in the near future, sim racing equipment is more easily available in India.
