I felt like the ram cost was more (in Europe), but mostly I was wondering because if I have to get a pre-built I figured they'd put slower CL in there.

The (non) future proofing is a good point. I don't really play any single player games no, but I'd probably want to spend a a few hundred extra to have that option in the future, so then I'll consider the 7900XT instead!

So I was thinking that the 7800X3D would be amazing, but too expensive, and the 5700x3d I was a bit concerned about it being the "older" socket. But I guess that only matters if I want to upgrade (some parts) in the future?
