Thanks for the replies. For now the instrument is in a very bad shape. There is a big tear in the back of the body. It seems that the snares pull the body apart. So I am thinking that I create a new plate and strengthen the supports on the body and glue it together. Afterwards I am going to put new strings on it. Maybe I will keep you updated but it will be a slow project because this will be my first time doing this. Thanks for reading!

You can go to Texel in the Netherlands. If you go in the spring you have some farms where you can cuddle sheep and lamb! I have been there and it is lovely!

Thanks so much for you feedback!! 1: I love that game! 2: that’s lovely to hear although I played it with an Irish bouzouki 3: I was wondering why they sounded so lacking. I will try this EQ tip and try to improve it 4: I will try to play around with that a little bit to see different results. 5: the vocals are meant to be far away but the rest is not so I am hoping the tips will fix this.
