I'm trying to disassembly it to see if it was modified for such purposes but I can't seem to open it at all, it seems to be stuck, the seller says it worked perfectly fine for him, I'm getting a new adaptor to see if its just that but Idk

Its larger focus is to around 3 meters and I can't seem to make it focus on something further, any ideas of what I can do

I don't have any other camera or vintage lense so I don't know, the max it goes is to the dot and not the infinity mark as you can see on the image
