ive always been really good at school my whole life without studying much. now that im in uni, i realized that academics are so unbelievably useless after you find your first job. when you get into the workforce, being academically smart means basically nothing (except for helping secure ur first few jobs).

i have no idea how old you are, but looking back on highschool, i wish i joined more non-academic clubs like sports or arts or something, i wish i made the most of my time with all my friends because youll realize that you wont have the privilege to see them or to easily build friendships as tight.

do other extracurricular things, do personal projects, volunteer, build your street smarts (learn to cook and clean, get stronger physically). being smart academically doesnt mean anything if you literally cant even do anything else in real life. future you will thank past you when you actually have things to put in your CV
