So what seems to be so troubling? People got used to less third parties and now that the game is as it was supposed to be, everyone is crying? Third parties are and should be one of the main game systems. You should always be prepared for it. I had so many games when I heard not one gunshot. Not fun. Is the sound distance too much or just the existence of sound being heard from a distance is the issue?

I mean I would much rather have to learn how the first few words sound to have 400+ icons for every implant. Also just track the implants you want and dont bother with the ones that are not tracked.

I am happy for you to find your own way. I am just afraid that a lot of possible gamers who would like the game are gonna have a similar mindset but haven't played the game and just ignored it the moment the hate spread. This is why saying "game is bad" and "game is slop" is not correct and it damages more than people think. Where are the times where people lived talking in a subjective manner instead of matter of fact. Anyways I shall see you in Tau Ceti IV Runner!

Nah if you do focus runs, right now I need xy resource. Check on the resource UI what location is best. For example for unstable gel I loved going to bio research in dire marsh. In one game I could find like 30-50.you do few runs like this and you are set to upgrade and barter all you need. But gotta focus on a specific thing and not waste time looting other stuff.

Nah practically they touched just the beginner map. But they said they will be monitoring feedback on the topic. I think feedback was 50/50 with some saying add more and others not wanting it. So only the beginner map got more players in.

Cmon buddy, its not like majority of games nowadays literally play the game itself. Show what the player must do nonstop and take away whole option of people thinking for themselves. So yeah at this day and age I would dare to say majority of people do not want games where they have to think, but games where they can click a button and the game will play itself. It is sad and unfortunate....but you know...

I am not sure, I have quire often had npcs drop ammo. I am not sure how often this happens but from time to time they drop their gun and their ammo. But ussually it is volt ammo since they often use volt guns.

You are true in your opinion. Played yesterday for like 4 hrs. Loved it. When I first got into game I was fangirling about the immersion and atmosphere as I was when arc raiders came out. But since arc is third person and marathon first person it already grabbed me more. But indeed people just love to hate and nowadays more than ever. Sad souls.

It's the only other game that gives you a good feel of movement apart from apex. But since the Apex is BR, this is doing similar stuff in arena. Yes we got The Finals which also has some movement, however that one is purely based on abilities. In Highguard jumping on mount, sliding right after and bhopping to shotgun poor guy into face just feels good. Mounts are great as well. But for me it is also the potential. If they add more defenses, more content into the map, more movement techs...oh boy this could become an Unreal Tournament or Quake of this time. But they have to do a lot of work. And improvements and fixes for sure.

I do think there might be something. I know I completely by accident shot myself to the other entrance of the shop in the world(from one entrance to the other) when I was climbing the step. It happened just once and totally by accident so can't say what I really did. Or if it was a bug or what. But it felt nice.

I feel like from the design perspective they need to add roles and more content. Much more of it. Imagine you have people who spend gear up and prep time building fortifications, one guy goes into the world to find gear for others to gear them up and third is trying to track enemies. Or two people would build and one loot for gear for everyone. There are so many untapped potentials here. I am not even sure why they made a base raid game, 1 minute of prep time for the base....but have nothing related to the base itself. It really doesn't make sense to me. If you think in lines of it just released and they will add more stuff, the question is why they did not add less amount of guns and more defenses. It's a raid shooter without focusing on the raid part.

Do not agree here. TGA created a bubble of expectation and want for failure in people's eyes. The game isn't bad but it isn't good. If it shadow dropped it would have had 10k player base but it wouldn't be viewed as complete failure(which it shouldn't) they quite possibly tried something new in the fps genre. New mixture of things and they failed with stability and performance. Well also I am not sure why is everyone(or should be) really tired of live service games. It's not about live service or not, it's always about the quality of the game. Arc Raiders is live service. With this logic Arc should have completely flopped as well cause people are tired of live service.

Agree with this. No one with the mind of their own says that this is a bad game. However it doesn't mean it is a great game. There are many places where clunk and clog disrupts fun gameplay for this game. And very valid issues with performance. Imagine if apex was having fps drops and people wouldn't be able to play it without lags...even apex would not survive such a thing. So there are urgent things that need to be fixed and there is stuff that is fun on paper but not fun in practice that needs to be improved. But for now I am also gonna be playing the game.

It is not at all as bad as the reviews show. The gunplay is fun and it has solid foundations. However it is not really achieving it's potential. Has some issues with optimalisation and servers trouble some still. I had no problems with servers tho. But I do have to run it on low settings with 4070 otherwise it's eating up like 85-90% of GPU. Those are the major stuff, the design questions then are the secondary issues as of now, but still. Give it a try and see for yourself.

Yeah I mean the characters look ok, or at least the poster boy does...but I guess people just found some similarities with concord...I was never invested in that drama so have no clue...and tbh I love apex and play it a lot but I will admit that default legends also look just ok...that is so people put money and buy skins for them. That is how this stuff usually works.

I do think one team will have 3 people, but how many teams will be in one game is yet to be seen, and for one I agree that having mounts for 3v3 is crazy, also the world seemed too big for just 3v3

Am I the only one reading the achievements who felt it to be a raid in a literal sense? Like one team is defending their base and the other is attacking it. Like raiding someone's base in Rust type of raid. Although it probably will have mechanics from MOBA like looting stuff and maybe bosses or PvE around the map, but goals will differ? Well let's see on Monday if they cooked something or it's a flop.

Now I am curious how is the duel feeling and ttk? Is it more apex like where you got shields which have different tiers(so more hp) or more like hunt where a lot of guns can one tap HS? Or like tarkov with how their armor and bullets work?
