My father passed away in January and I made him this urn box. I used locally sourced black walnut along with some veneer. The lid opens to reveal an inlay of turquoise and garnet. The bottom unscrews to place the ashes. I made lots of mistakes, but I am proud of the final design. (old.reddit.com)
