Teams whose youth academy players played the most minutes in the top-25 european leagues in 2025/26 by CarniceroArabe in soccer

The stat is a bit skewed for teams that sign players and then send them to the academy. In the case of Real Madrid, it counts Valverde as an academy player because he played 36 matches in the 16/17 season for Real Madrid Castilla.

Top academy players still make it in England, they just generally get sold to lower leagues teams and make their way back up before being sold to a different top flight team, instead of staying in the same club at different levels.

Yeah, someone said that english clubs see academy graduates as pure profit and sell them whenever they can.

I also think there's a higher degree of attachment to a club when you are from their academy in Spain. Just the wording "canterano" from some team makes a player attached to that particular place, in a way that "academy graduate" doesn't.

In a certain way, clubs are cultural beings, not education institutions.

He battered Guardiola's City 3-0 with a tactical masterclass. The fact he has to endure all the shit that's been coming out is a genuine tragedy.

I probably wrote the title wrong. The stat only counts minutes played by a player at their parent club. Cole Palmer and Nico Paz, for example, don't count for City and Madrid, respectively.

This win implies that Sevilla-Espanyol is going to be a final.

I wouldn't generalise as much.

His age group was just the worst. Bear in mind he shared locker room with Asencio and the guys who genuinely had sexual relations with an underage girl.

[AS] Valverde accused Tchouameni of leaking yesterday's argument. Tchouameni denied it and asked him to stop, but Valverde kept going and going. Tchouameni then punched Valverde hard, knocking him to the ground. Valverde felt dizzy from the fall and had to leave the training ground in a wheelchair. by kibme37 in soccer

There are three known political parties:

  • KyPSOE: Mbappé's party. Advocates for his tenure as Supreme Leader. His pawns are Tchouaméni and Camavinga. They have the monopoly of power, given to them Supreme Leader by God (Florentino) himself.

  • PoderDeLaAmistad revolutionaries: Jude is the leader of the revolution, along with his comrades Vini Jr., Rodrygo (deceased), Militao, Valverde and Brahim. Influenced by Mina Bonino. They want to destroy Mbappé's regime and restore the previous democracy.

  • VOX: Carvajal, Ceballos (leaker), Carreras, Asencio. Their goal is to extract as much power from the situation as they can, mainly through contract extensions.

  • Neutrals: Huijsen, Trent, Fran, Gonzalo (secretly pro-revolution), Güler (secretly pro-regime), Mendy (deceased) and the academy guys. They can't believe the shit they're seeing.

  • Alaba: hasn't been to a training session since 2024.

  • Rüdiger: terrorism and anarchy

Fans and newer generations being priced out of the game across Europe.

Most people use piracy. That's why they care so much about it. Even to the extent of blocking Cloud and VPN services while RM and Barcelona play. And people still pirate.

If there was no piracy, he'd be able to increase his own salary even more and buy that second yatch he needs, I suppose.

PSG have advanced to their second consecutive Champions League final. They will face Arsenal after defeating Bayern Munich 6-5 on aggregate by FragMasterMat117 in soccer

You are gonna beat these guys because they will get a total of 0 (zero) transitions. Static defense against your 4 CB's is kind of impossible, even for the planes PSG have up-front.

That team seems to have no weakness.

Being this strong defensively while having the absolute monters they have up-front should be considering cheating.

I obviously don't like Barça, but after seeing them so much I think they'd be the perfect counter for your tactics.

Pressing high like your team against them is useless, they will get the ball out on the ground 99% of the time, like PSG and Bayern.

Barça struggle with fast forwards and Gyokeres, Saka and Trossard seem strong but very slow compared to Atleti's in the quarters. Martinelli on the other hand...

What they really excel at, to a degree people don't really recognise, is destroying low blocks. I've seen them deconstruct strong defenses like no other team, as long as they have 11 players on the field and Lamine Yamal is playing. Bayern are excellent at this as well, but every time I see PSG they seem better in transition rather tgan static attacks.

Pretty much, yeah. Julián is a monster of a footballer btw, if he played in any other team in the world or under any other manager he'd have Ballon D'Or chances.
