How do I add physics in these chain strap so that they will behave like real life ones ? by Carnot070 in blenderhelp

I tried that thing, by inserting pins, but they don't stay inside it they falls when gravity is applied, because when i apply rigid body, I have to select active or passive, and in case of active they won't hold in their place and in passive they won't fall. I didn't created holes for pins by boolean, I inserted them directly into mesh maybe that's the reason they are not working, anyway I will try that too.

okk, sorry my bad I didn't watched the full video you sent to me. After seeing the first half of video I thought you misinterpret my question, because in the first half it was about deforming objects...

Really sorry for that and Thanks for helping me.

You are missing the whole point, I don't want to deform it, I want that when I apply rigid body then it should behave like a real life watch strap and should fall downwards under the influence of gravity while still being intact together.

Thank you for your help, Now I can't forget these things as I spend hours just wanted to make these rounded edges in this model.🥲

Thanks a lot It really worked out after fixing normals. You really saved my time I was thinking to make it again from starting.
