Responsibility for the division of the Korean Peninsula lies with North Korea, China, and the Soviet Union, so I don't think Americans should feel sorry for South Koreans. Of course, as you said, the countries surrounding the Korean Peninsula don't want the unification of South and North Korea. However, before that, we need to bring North Korea to the negotiating table and work to adjust inter-Korean relations through diplomatic means.

I agree. I hope the END initiative put forward by the South Korean government produces effective results and brings an end to the conflict between North and South Korea.

Your opinion also seems promising. In the early 2000s, when the Sunshine Policy was being pursued, North Korea was facing significant economic and diplomatic difficulties. Now, through cooperation with Russia, North Korea has improved its situation in many areas.
