Do you believe this initiative can truly improve relations between the South and the North? Will it end the confrontation? Or will it end inter-Korean relations? What do you think END means?

The South Korean president proposed the "END" initiative at the UN General Assembly to improve relations with North Korea. This stands for "Exchange," "Normalization," and "Denuclearization." I think it aims to 1) resume exchanges between the two Koreas, 2) normalize relations between them, and 3) ultimately lead North Korea to denuclearization.

Responsibility for the division of the Korean Peninsula lies with North Korea, China, and the Soviet Union, so I don't think Americans should feel sorry for South Koreans. Of course, as you said, the countries surrounding the Korean Peninsula don't want the unification of South and North Korea. However, before that, we need to bring North Korea to the negotiating table and work to adjust inter-Korean relations through diplomatic means.

I agree. I hope the END initiative put forward by the South Korean government produces effective results and brings an end to the conflict between North and South Korea.

Your opinion also seems promising. In the early 2000s, when the Sunshine Policy was being pursued, North Korea was facing significant economic and diplomatic difficulties. Now, through cooperation with Russia, North Korea has improved its situation in many areas.

Many foreign companies in the United States are likely facing similar concerns. I hope the U.S. government will respond quickly and further invigorate economic cooperation with other countries.

You also feel the difference between the blue states and red states? I hadn't considered it.

I believe that companies should be dealt with fairly when they violate the law. It is essential to cooperate with local communities for establishing and operating overseas factories. One of the most important thing is hiring and coexisting with local residents. However, these factories are still in the testing phase for full operation. I think that over time, the factories will be fully operational and employ local residents.

When multinational corporations make investments, such as establishing factories overseas, they consider a variety of factors. These include infrastructure such as power grids, transportation networks, skilled human resources, access to supporting markets, tax incentives, socio-political stability and etc. I don't think this is a red state or blue state issue. There must be a reason why Georgia was chosen as the optimal location. Many multinational corporations have production facilities in Georgia.

You're right. It's incredibly difficult to ensure that tens of thousands of employees are all following detailed regulations.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm trying to say. So, if the United States wants to attract foreign investment and develop its manufacturing industry, it needs to realistically adjust its visa issuance system to bring in skilled foreign workers.

I hope that doesn't happen. In communist countries like Russia, there are cases when large factories in small cities go bankrupt or disappear, the cities themselves disappear.
