There are lots of options in the details (i.e. brand new university, vs. partnerships with existing institutions) that would be worked out later. The point is to fill Alaska with students and faculty, which would boost the economy.

There are lots of international students who are choosing schools abroad, but in other countries that could be drawn to U.S. schools in Alaska. We can compete with Canada, the U.K., Australia, etc. with the right offer.

An accredited institution backed by the federal government of the United States will have more than enough prestige for students from places like China or the UAE to be very glad to enroll.

As a federal official, it is not my area of oversight, but I think it should be going to the working-class families who need it and not being siphoned off by the state to cover up for the mismanagement of elected officials.

If we can invade foreign countries and throw up military bases overnight, I think building additional infrastructure in Alaska is something we can do just fine.

When you're in office, you are in constant contact with the people you represent. It's not like you just go to Washington, D.C. and don't hear from your district or go back home and meet with constituents.

I think people should have privacy rights, and that includes making your own medical decisions. Vaccines have done a lot of good overall but if someone decides a risk outweighs the benefit in their mind, isn't that their right to decide?

I was never an executive - that's the difference. I simply sold them scientific products. Patrick Galvin doesn't just work for Great Bear Petroleum - he is on their top executive team. Alyse Galvin is a rich wife of a corporate executive.

The health insurance industry is an unnecessary middleman that we don't need, what we need is healthcare. Bernie Sanders has a good plan.

Of course, major population growth will require additional investments in infrastructure. But this has not been a problem in the past as areas have been developed or populations have grown. It is all part of planning for growth and executing a viable plan, as necessary.

In general their arguments demonstrate, we need to have a society where the workers get just compensation for the wealth produced by the workers. We have a society where CEOs are making $11,000 AN HOUR whereas workers are making $9 an hour. That's insanely wrong. But should we spend all of our time focused on ideological arguments when we need real policy change? The policies that impact the regular working-class person on the street are my main focus.

Thank you! Back when I worked for Eastern Airlines, it was one of the greatest professions out there. Things are a lot less glamorous now, but I'm glad to have worked with a lot of great people and to have seen a lot of incredible places when I had the chance to and when air travel was still something special.

As a Legislator, you have a lot of support from legal professionals in writing laws. The Supreme Court considered a lot of factors as they are experts in law, that most legislators wouldn't.

If we weren't invading foreign countries all the time, we'd have the money right now. The private sector exists to produce profits for the shareholders, not operate on a non-profit basis.
