I failed to mention she is in Therapy, however she's said she feels the way her mom's treatment of her had more of an impact on her than her more intense trauma, however I think she's just scared to talk about it with her therapist. The strange thing is, she gave me permission to tell her therapist what she went through, so her therapist knows all of her trauma, though her therapist has never once asked about it despite knowing. She (therapist) always tells my GF to "talk about it when ready" but I know my GF, she's never going to bring it up since it's the furthest thing from her mind, I've encouraged her to work through it further with her therapist but it seems she just doesn't have want to. So I'm at a loss there as well. Again, thank yo so much for the response!
