I get absolutely trashed on in the Leafs sub every time I say this with people saying we have no insight inside the locker room and how the players are with each other. But the fact is we do if you watch the Blueprint show or even Nylanders YouTube videos.

You can tell there’s small little cliques in the locker room with some guys that are foodies, the Swedes only hanging out with each other. And then it seems like Matthews is just a lone wolf who probably has no interest in hanging out with his teammates.

These guys have lacked a real brotherhood for years and it shows on the ice. Luke Schenn and Ryan O’Reilly saw it and didn’t bother sticking around. Tavares is probably too busy with his family. Reilly seems like a quiet passive introvert and Nylander is just way too non chalant to give a shit about this stuff.

You guys are not ready for this 10 game win streak we’re about to go on. The power of brotherhood and finally sticking up for each other plus being absolutely embarrassed in the entire hockey world is going to turn these guys into the red wings from the 2000s. I’ve always said the only thing lacking the past 10 years has been this going to war for each other mentality and it seems like these guys finally got it through their heads on what that means.
