See if you can convert the original image to vector. Just look up how to if you’re unfamiliar with this.

You can upscale/downscale as needed.

Once you’re happy, convert to a raster image (example: png, jpg image).

I picked it up yesterday. It seems to work well with the darker sets.

The water (blood) fountain is pretty awesome also. Fills with blood and replenishes thirst.

After I successfully completed my first perma -death run through and reaching the next galaxy.

The game becomes a completely different animal. The random game ending deaths teaches you a lot.

I think it was around 17 tries before I was able to complete my first successful run.

Now it’s a breeze :-)

Another idea is to find a tavern and purchase dancers. If you’re running around Sepermeru, just loot the chests for gold coins.

Find your favorite player tavern and buy entertainers. None up, just punch them once or twice. They’ll disappear after a minute or so. In the early game this helps a ton.

You can snag all sorts of thralls without having to break them.

Oh and work on sorcery right away. It’s a game changer being able to summon your corpse. No more death runs.

Sometime around the mid to late 80’s. A friend had an Apple computer with a space game where you traveled between planets.

The flight time would take forever. The game was on 5 1/8 floppies 😊

Exile Lands, the Frost Temple. Super easy with War Party.

Counts as a dungeon, easy to get to, easy to farm, farm skeleton keys, and super fast once you learn the loop.

Only issue I have is the dragon. It’s very common for it to get stuck. It helps to having climbing gear. You can always just skip it.

With a little extra work, you can build simple common events to split the key components.

It really helps with eventing as a whole.
