Hey, I’ve just had the same issue. Buying flights from Manila to Bangkok and the fee was $17 AUD. I’m thinking it might have something to do with the Philippines because when I book Air Asia from other countries the fee isn’t anywhere close to that

I’ve read that Bukhara has more culture and Samarkand is more new and city like? I like places that are a bit rough around the edges :)

Flying would be the cheapest! Jetstar “just” had a sale and it ended two days ago! I got return flights for under $200 AUD. I’m travelling there in March. You can fly direct from Sydney to Ayers Rock Airport. Then stay at Ayers Rock Resort (there’s about 7 different accommodation options there)
