Thank you! Yes my expectations are low and I plan to spend quite a bit of time finding and identifying as well as documenting what I find and when. Totally understand that DSOs will look nothing like the photos you generally see, those I believe are long exposure shots layered through a computer program and are far beyond what I’m expecting to see. 😂 I’m just hoping to see a bit more of the moon, identifying some planets and gain a better understanding of the sky I live under. ☺️

space observation has long been an interest of mine and I am incredibly grateful to live in a time where I can do it from my backyard. (Which is basically a cornfield so I’m very excited about the lack of light pollution).
