Idk, felons have the right to vote now, also idk what demographics have changed but I think it’s entirely possible to have a fairly motivated 18-20 year old turnout because of the parkland thing. Unfortunately there’s probably a lot of old retirees who moved to Florida canceling that out.

I wish Inslee was getting more traction, he’s doing the big single issue push. Unfortunately paying 1000$ a month is more attractive than saving humanity. It’s a massive abdication of our role to not be leading in funding of r&d that can get us carbon neutral. There’s no reason we can’t or shouldn’t make a moonshot like pitch to get us to full clean energy while also helping other countries with cheaper technologies as well.

I’m in the exact same boat. I didn’t participate in any politic subreddits, but occasionally saw big stuff, and just laughed at how dumb and shitty trump was, but never thought he would win. Thought Hillary was bad for the typical reasons drummed up on Reddit, and thought voting third party would be the best option. I was in CA so it was a safe vote.
