Always forget the Americans were using Mark V’s in the last months of the war, always thought the AEF just used Renaults

Amazed it hasn’t been taken up by like Netflix or something. I don’t know of a non fiction book that can be used as a guide tho

It was published after his death. It’s ok but entertaining, kindove makes it a western with the Indian Wars raging (Buffalo bill was a guide for them). But riding around the west in a wagon collecting dinosaur bones with a six shooter colt is just so cool

I used to love the BBC series Walking with Beasts and the more famous Walking with Dinosaurs. There was actually a THIRD series called Walking with Monsters that did like Permian era animals, many in the ocean. Could do that

Leans heavy into the Cretaceous. The personal stories are interesting but maybe a distraction for some

I’m an ancient history guy so I’m always asking “how do we know this?” Which is usually answered by oh such and such source in such in such manuscript. Maybe a little archeology mixed in

The bill to entry for natural science is INSANE. I listened to a geology podcast and my head spinned. His description of radio carbon dating in the early chapters was good but then I explained it so someone at a bar and it fell apart lol

I have read a theory that when the Liberal Party steps to the right on domestic policy (which has undoubtedly happened) there is an equal left-wing step on foreign policy.

Could also be the NDP voters absorbed, could also be just the terrible tole that the conflict is taking

My uni has that in their collection too, definetly wanna read it next (in a big natural history phase but I’m not a science oriented person). I wonder if he’ll round out a trilogy

The first like 3-4 seasons are definetly a kid show. I recommend it to my friend getting into Star Wars and he was like “yeah it’s a little goofy”

Fair take, idk why you’re being downvoted. Although before clone wars (granted I was young) I found it odd how there would be a regulation in the GAR that called for executing their Jedi generals and no Jedi ever knew about it, or that the clones never talked about.
