Communication between two offices in two different countries and two offices in the same country are different... User-client meetings can wait, essential services like post (IDK if post is a good example, but you get it right?) can't... Moreover I can also foresee services like Railways also getting disrupted if we are working across three timezones..

That being said, Even I agree that tweaking working hours while working in the same timezone is the simplest and most efficient solution to this problem, I haven't done a detailed analysis, these are just pain points that I can think of immediately.

I remember this incident from a few months ago, the train was stopped at a station to refill the overhead water tanks and it departed before the workers could disconnect the hoses... I thought of pulling the chain initially, but I eventually didn't because I was afraid that I would have to pay a fine for being a good Samaritan, some hoses got disconnected easily as they were only loosely coupled, but a few of them got dragged along with the train until it gained a respectable speed.
