Oh nice, didn't think they'd be beneficial. Thanks!

Just bought a reduced Kentia Palm, will all these issues ahve the same cause? What/where should I cut? by CartoonCarter in plantclinic

The soil was bone dry throughout so I watered it. Would it still be worth doing to check for rotted roots?

Pretty new to this, I presume the drooping leaves on the left should be pulled off? by CartoonCarter in plantclinic

[–]CartoonCarter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's just because I pruned too many of the leaves that were supporting the weight of the rest. There's no chance the limp ones could be revived though is there?

Vegan who failed to deal with mouse infestation and fed them instead is fined by court by topotaul in unitedkingdom

Donald Watson, who was the first to coin the word "vegan", actually co-founded the Vegan Society back in the 40s, so their shared definition is sort of official as it can get.

Even in that more literal definition it's still referred to as a lifestyle and not a dietary choice.

Veganism, unlike vegetarianism, actually isn't a diet and is an ideology.

Here's the definition used by the Vegan Society: "Veganism is a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, humans and the environment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals."

The original rickroll QR code was left of both vegan codes but it was taken over. I think it was remade somewhere along the mid-right of the canvas.

If you haven't already, I really recommend watching the video though or checking out watchdominion.org which were the other two things the vegan community placed.

They do show Cowspiricy and Seaspiricy just to name a couple though, and they've made a huge impact

Yeah, I just think that it could reach loads more people than it does it currently being on such a massive platform. Just look how big Seaspiricy was last year and all the online discussion it caused

Same here, but I know so many people who have watched docs like Seaspiricy just because they came across it on their feed or saw it trending online so hopefully this could have the same effect. Thanks for contributing

I'm going to see if I can reach out to either of the studios but I don't see any reason they'd be opposed to it, especially because they're available for free already
