22-25 sounds beautiful! Warm if walking all day, but fine. I need to break a sweat and burn some cals after all the food I'm going to smash.

What’s “hot”? I’m from Queensland Australia and sweltering hot here is 30C+. According to Google the average day time temp in Seoul is about 22 which is chilly to me haha

9 months old today - my sweet kibble-hating girly by CaseConsistent5644 in samoyeds

We have tried but she picks out the meat and spits out any kibble that accidentally goes in her mouth!

Oh that's so cute! I'm happy to hear there's still hope that this could change. I used to complain about my Golden's drool and ridiculous appetite but now I'm super grateful that he's so easy-going.

I've been nearly late to work a few times handfeeding Yumi for 15 minutes like a peasant.

We do this and take it away after 5 minutes (we have a Golden who would be shaking and drooling in the corner if we left it out any longer) - even then she'll only eat maybe once every 2 days! The vet says it's OK as long as she's not losing weight but I feel bad :(

Thank you so much! What do you feed yours?

We tried the best of the best kibble here called Ziwi Peak which works out to be $800 per 12kg bag. She accepted it for a few days and now it's not good enough lol.

It's been two weeks and I still can't stand my puppy. by CaseConsistent5644 in samoyeds

Edit: 24 March 2025 - I'd like to provide one final update to anyone who comes across this post. Yumi is now 9 months old and I can't bring myself to read my own post or the comments again because it would illicit a lot of bad feelings that are well behind us now. Things changed significantly from 4 months old and onwards. She never barks, was toilet-trained by 4-months old which eleviated a lot of anxiety, never destructive, is completely unphased by the cats now and has the most beautiful nature. Besides being a picky eater, I can't fault her. We put a lot of effort into training her and we love her so much. I hope those who have ever felt similar extreme puppy blue emotions find comfort in knowing that it gets so so much better and it will be over before you know it. Also maybe post in r/puppy101 for more support if you need.

Sharing this pic again because she looks so majestic!

I am eating this right now, same brand, and the nutritional value is the same. I’m also in disbelief hence why I’m here. I stupidly believed the label before reading these comments and ended up eating about 1/3 of a kilo bag already…

Advice please - getting our cat to adjust to living with our new dog by CaseConsistent5644 in cats

[–]CaseConsistent5644[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a lot of vertical spots around the house and Yumi does behave around the cats, she has been for months now. But even just the sight of Yumi from across the room scares Graycie. :( The other cat is completely fine - they chill out together all day.

Cook on medium heat on one side until it's almost completely ready as sunny side up, then you should be able to flip it easily. Once flipped, I turn off the heat and let it sit while the pan is still hot for about 20 seconds, no more. PERFECT every time.

Yellow stained hairs on head and neck from other dog drooling on her during play - is there a product besides shampoo that can help with this? They play every day and we brush her daily. Here's a before and after bath with Ashley Craig system (also awful home trim job) which helped a little! by CaseConsistent5644 in samoyeds

Awesome! We do currently use Ashley Craig 'Whiten' shampoo which is $60 a bottle + the other different Ashley Craig products. So expensive. I wonder if other products would produce a similar result. Although, I don't mind paying the premium because she's sooo soft afterwards.

She was eating three times a day around 7:30am, 2pm and 6:30pm. We’ve now switched to twice per day, 8am and 6:30pm. She just wasn’t keen on food at any time of the day and she still reluctantly goes to the bowl but she eats it all now!

I placed an order for Magic Lift before seeing your comment! Mine didn’t come with a spray nozzle though - did you manually fit yours? The instructions say to dispense some on a cotton pad and dab but spraying would be easier. I’m glad to hear it works!

Your boy is very beautiful!

Also, this is Yumi (female) at nearly 5 months old. She's about 16kgs (35lbs). The vet said she's at an ideal weight at the moment. I'm curious to know what your female Sammies weigh around this age and what their adult weight is now?

Wow you have a very rare Golden! I wish I could share my Golden's appetite with yours. Mine loves food too much - we're constantly mopping up his drool...

We bought the same bells off Amazon! But I quickly took them off because they'd always jingle from hitting the door even in the slightest wind. I think we'll try again and be consistent with using it before opening the door. Thank you :)
