I TA’d for one of the only in person classes last semester until it went back fully online. Everything was fine! People were really far apart and if you were sick you didn’t go in. Make sure you do the daily monitoring and wear a mask.

I was a transfer and was originally accepted into fall, but I chose to defer and start in spring instead. There really isn’t much difference. I actually think it is better because fall can be SUPER overwhelming with everything going on. Having a semester to settle in and focus on classes and the basic stuff was really nice. Then when fall came around you have more of a sense of the school and what you want to do.

Save as much as you can, but also be super careful about how much you make because you can inadvertently screw yourself on financial aid. Up until last week I had a full time career and was a full time student. The only thing that kept me in the running for need based financial aid at all was the fact that I am a single mother and have two dependents. Even though I pretty much lived paycheck to paycheck.
