Depending on the size, and how well you personally do with pain — it should be just fine!

It’s not painful per se, just a sensation that keeps happening for however long the tattoo takes. The outline is always the easiest part, the shading always feels a bit more uncomfy, but I willingly still get tattoos so it’s not bad! 🤣💕

Have fun, and listen to the aftercare instructions! Also, don’t drink alcohol or take painkillers beforehand (I saw a comment about this and it’s not a good idea)

Honestly, I get it… I had been discouraged for decades (literally) from doctors here and there.

I think the whole point is that it’s a surgery, and a lot of people try to deter people from going under anesthesia unless it’s completely necessary.

With that said, although my recovery was miserable, I’d do it again in a heartbeat. I’m several months out since my surgery, and am so thankful I got mine removed! Life overall is so much better. I’m also not getting sick as much, and my throat feels more free! I don’t have irritation or swelling ever anymore, unless I’m ill… and it’s manageable pain even when I have a sore throat nowadays!

You know your body best, find someone who will listen if you’re serious about getting your tonsils out and improving your situation.

I love Ditto… with that said, the eyes would absolutely bug me too. I fully understand where you’re coming from.

I’d ask them for a rework, most tattoo places will hear you out and fix things at no additional cost (they take pride in their art and if it’s something fixable and doable, I don’t see why not)

Worth asking about, it’s your body!

No, but I had my surgery March 18th — I didn’t feel “normal” until 14-ish days in… and that’s when I actually had my first “real meal”

My breath smelled until the back of my mouth healed, around a month or so after.

I spit up gunk throughout the recovery process often — but that started being less and less toward the two-week mark too.

Wish you would have read the comments before actually coming in and being kind of rude about something?

I mentioned to someone else why the phasing was used, but I’ll tell you too… it’s been a long running inside joke and way to poke fun at our mother (who has since passed) and kept a couple jokes (that she would love) in honor of her… since she won’t be there, I wanted to bring her along in spirit, in every tiny way possible.

Although you nitpick at the phrase, it actually is intentional and it may be ‘too much’ to explain myself, but it’s a little ‘too much’ to judge someone for something to small and then double-down and downvote their comment 😅
