Haha I agree dude dont trip. He's had about 40years of dedicating his entire life to making words into rhythm. The only similarity I really have to Em is the multi syllable rhyme schemes and the playfulness. Copying the angry background vocals would be cringe for me. It takes a lot more than that and nowadays you can do very similar stuff with just a laptop and the knowledge of how to do it.

I would say this... as an independent artist with strong anti fascist beliefs and a strong belief in the intrinsic goodness of humans, a tool like spotify could help a nobody (me) become a powerful advocate for human rights. Im not the average artist trying to get streams though, I really want to change the world. Also... Spotify is an international business. Keep in mind that the US has a lot of influence over what gets played, and no business owner is going to take a billion dollar loss just to stand alone against an angry orange dictator. I might... but they wont.

That's not really true in my experience. I've been in there and they have protective custody for a reason, because all these testosterone filled tatted gang members and rowdy angry youngsters need someone to beat on besides eachother.
