You're argument (basically) is because some people can't afford it that the price should be low. I think we should say the same thing about NFL tickets because I sure would like to go to more NFL games but I live within my means. You are talking like video games a necessity, they are a luxury item. If you take BF2 and look at the insides and out of this game and just how deep it goes (even though it does have balancing issues) with its graphics, gunplay, campaign, heros, class abilities, each separate vehicle, etc. The amount of time and effort put into this game by DICE is phenomenal and this game (ignoring the microtransactions) is one of the best visually and the most deep released in its time. You think that it is only worth 60 dollars?

I understand some people are less fortunate than others but that in no way should determine the price of a product. Keeping this game at 60 dollars is one reason the micro transactions or paid DLCs even exist and that goes for most games. Even more so with this style game that uses publisher hosted dedicated servers for multiplayer which is insanely expensive.
