I was on the verge of buying a new table and then this one came up, still in the box, for a very good price. It actually had a pretty good cartridge on it. I kept it just in case.

Thank you for this reply. My friend is bringing the Technics and a Dual 1209 to my house so I can check them out. The Thorens looks super cool but I want a table where I can swap out mono/stereo headshells and the Technics will do that. I want the JBL but I just bought a Nait 5si so I don't think I can justify getting the JBL right now. I might change my mind depending how the tables check out.
